An elegant little 20 bore Abbiatico & Salvinelli over and under fixed choke game gun. Exhibition grade oil finished rounded pistol grip stock showing huge amounts of deep dark figure throughout fitted with a leather covered heel pad of approximately 1" in length. The stock is accompanied by a well matched slim rounded game style forend with fine scroll engraved release catch. Beautiful game scene engraved action and side plates showing various game birds surrounded by fine floral border engraving. The left hand side plate shows a small covey of French partridges in full flight while the right hand side of the action displays a trio of Mallard duck taking flight from a small flight pond. The underside of the action has been engraved with a single woodcock if flight through a wooded area set in a small cameo scene. Well balanced 29" fixed choke barrels with thin solid game style top rib alongside solid side ribs, fully detachable trigger unit. Manual non selective safety catch, fine scroll engraved top lever and rounded trigger guard.
The gun comes complete in the maker's ABS travel case.

This Excalibur is extremely dynamic, nimble and an absolute joy to carry in the field. A true representation of what a top tier Abbiatico & Salvinelli is supposed to be.
